    Every piece from The Little Yarn Garden is crocheted by hand, one stitch at a time. Whether you choose a finished piece or have something created especially for you, each item is thoughtfully made with care, character, and attention to detail. 

    Now Accepting Custom Orders 

    The Little Yarn Garden is officially accepting custom orders! Each piece is thoughtfully crocheted by hand, one order at a time. 

    Orders Placed during this opening are scheduled to be completed and shipped no later than March 2027, though your order may be finished and shipped much sooner depending on the item, design, and your place in my order queue. 

    Limited order spots are available. Thank you for supporting handmade and allowing me the time to create something just for you. 

    How Custom Orders Work 

    1. Choose Your Piece 

    Pick the type of handmade item you'd like: cardigan, granny square blanket, shawl, or another available custom piece.

    Custom Blankets: All custom blankets from The Little Yarn Garden are made using granny squares. A variety of granny square designs, colors, layouts are available, so you can choose a combination that fits your style.   

    2. Send Your Measurements 

    For custom wearable pieces, you'll provide a few simple measurements so I can create the best fit possible: 

    • Shoulder to Shoulder - straight across the back 
    • Underarm to wrist - from the armpit down the inside of the arm to where you want the sleeve to end 
    • Upper arm circumference - around the fullest part of the upper arm near the armpit 
    • Chest/bust circumference - around the fullest part of the chest 
    • Desired cardigan length - from the top of the shoulder down to where you want the cardigan to end
    • Wrist circumference - especially important if you want a fitted/scrunched cuff 

    Please provide measurements in inches and measure comfortably against the body without pulling the measuring tape too tight. 

    3. I'll Create It 

    Your piece is handmade just for you. Custom wearable orders typically take approximately 2-4 weeks but may take longer depending on size, design, complexity, and current order volume. Custom granny square blankets typically take 2-6 months, depending on the blanket size, granny square design, number of squares, yarn, and complexity. 

    4. Made With Care & Shipped 

    Once finished, your piece will be washed, carefully packaged, and sealed before shipping. 


    A Note About My Home 

    My home does have a smoker. I take special care with every handmade piece and finished items are thoroughly washed, completly dried, and sealed in protective packaging before shipping to help keep them fresh and protected. If you have a severe sensitivity to smoke, please consider this before placing an order.
